The "Mucusless Diet Healing System" is not a common book of nutrition,
it doesn't only explain what to eat, what to eat and how much to eat. This "work" is a
literary transcript of a "school" course, held personally by Ehret in various European
cities, around the early 1900's.
Ehret was a teacher who practiced what he preached, and there were many people who used to follow passionately his lessons.
In this book, the chapters are named "lessons" for the reason I just mentioned. Everyday language, the lack of courtly terms and the constant presence of easy-to-understand examples make this book an enjoyable read and, at the same time, a simple and thorough teaching. Nothing is left implicit, but all the concepts are accompanied by reasons, examples, critiques and counterexamples. Reading Ehret's lessons is just like attending to his own course, iteratively and not only theoretically, but also practically.
