TRANSITION DIET AND SOME RECIPES
All fruits and vegetables you are going to eat should be IN SEASON: remember that animals eat what they find in nature and you should do the same.
REMEMBER: it's not enough just to know what healing foods to eat; you also need to combine them appropriately and, if you feel the need or if you are very sick, you should alternate your diet with shorter or longer fasting; but it's ALWAYS you who controls your diet, as you feel comfortable doing it yourself. Today, if you don't feel like eating but fasting, do it quietly, but don't overdo it: if your body demands solid food, satisfy it, stop fasting and introduce fruits or vegetables. You must not be too restrictive with your body: the exaggerated and forced suffering, or rather abstinence from solid food, is not good, but an effort both for your mind and your body.
It is wrong to think that a latent disease can be cured simply by a very long fasting or with a sudden change of diet on fruits. The right way to treat ANY disease from the beginning is a careful TRANSITION DIET, specially selected and gradually changed, to lead from a wrong nutrition, to a mucus-lean one (where still mucus-forming foods are eaten, although in small part), to the final mucusless diet.
Breakfast is one of the most unhealthy habits: you should never take solid food in the
morning, if you want to get the best results. The reason is simple: during the night,
the body has the opportunity to dissolve the mucus, which winds up in large quantities in
the stomach. When you get up, in your stomach is still present that mucus: if you eat
something solid, you turn it over and put it into circulation with what you gulped down,
and it sometimes makes you feel a little sick (nausea). Instead, if you wait a few hours,
quite time for lunch, the mucus has had time to be digested and put into circulation,
and it will subsequently be eliminated during the day through diet meals.
Think that some slight diseases can be cured simply by the no breakfast plan.
BETTER NO MORE THAN TWO MEALS A DAY, abundant as you like, but not more than two: lunch and dinner.
It is best not to mix too many elements together: no more than three kinds of vegetables together (under inspiration of Nature, where animals feed on only one type of grass or other food).
NEVER DRINK DURING A MEAL, or you'll slow down the digestion. REMEMBER: the most liquid you assume during a meal, the more you slow down your digestion. Wait at least 30 minutes after eating, so you are sure to have at least begun to digest the meal.
First you must eat the fruits and, after a few minutes, the vegetables; this is because fruits' grape sugar binds to mucus and dissolves it, then vegetables arrange the mucus to be wiped out.
MENU FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS
Ehret's Standard Combination Salad:
The purpose of this salad is to thoroughly clean the bowel, using raw and cooked vegetables, but not starchy.
Season it as well with oil, but use lemon juice instead of vinegar.
If you like, eat also a cooked vegetable (cauliflower, turnip, courgette, ...)
If you're still hungry, eat a baked potato or a slice of toasted wholemeal bread. Since fats are unnatural and should not be consumed, if you want to put something on the bread, use peanut butter or other nut creams.
If you want a hot drink, even in the morning, you can keep the water in which you cook (boil) vegetables: this "vegetable broth" is a powerful "sweeper" of mucus, as it is rich in properties of vegetables, more than baked vegetables themselves.
Mix a baked fruit (apple, apricot, peach, whatever you want, as long as in season) with some "cottage cheese" (soft fresh cheese), or with a mashed ripe banana. The cottage cheese is particularly suitable if you have a mucous stomach, while bananas are if you have a low acid stomach.
If you want to sweeten your food or your drink, don't do it with white sugar (it's too worked to be healthy); rather use raw sugar cane or even better honey.
MENU FOR THE SECOND TWO WEEKS
A baked apple and, after about a quarter of an hour, Ehret's Salad.
To avoid dressing salad, let it be saturated with cooked vegetables for about 10 minutes.
A baked fruit and, always after about a quarter of an hour, a salad of lettuce and cucumbers, or else raw sliced celery or cabbage.
MENU FOR THE THIRD TWO WEEKS
IN SUMMER: one fresh fruit;
IN WINTER: sweet dried fruits (prunes, figs, raisins...) eaten with apples or oranges, or else, followed by fresh fruits.
If not enough, wait fifteen minutes and eat a cooked or raw vegetable, but in small quantities.
Ehret's Salad followed by a baked vegetable.
MENU FOR THE FOURTH TWO WEEKS
Fruit (like in the previous menu).
Raw or cooked fruits followed by a baked vegetable salad.
If you see that you're losing weight too fast, eat some toasted bread or some potatoes
If at the beginning you feel a strong desire to eat meat, don't be tempted; rather, that day eat only vegetables, but NO FRUITS.
In certain conditions, some foods are more laxative than others, so eat those foods you found to be the best "sweeper" for your body.
A DISSOLVED MYSTERY:
Those who take this diet without a proper preparation and without the teaching you have learned so far, as soon as they are upset, they lose faith in the fruits and vegetables diet, unaware that in reality their bloodstream is dispersing large amounts of mucus, waste and toxins, causing little ailments, and, at the same time, they feel very strong desires for wrong foods. This is because the grape sugar (fructose) dissolves mucus; the dissolved substances, that are unnatural food residues - including meat - (if they ate it), enter the circulation and nourish their cells, making them want to eat what they've dissolved. Neither doctors, nor naturopaths, nor nutritionists have ever been able to understand why this happens during a similar transition diet; we can say that this is a mystery now revealed.
